Summary

In today’s education system, digital tools are very important for improving how teaching and learning happen. As a trainee, I had chance to use different tools and learned how useful they are in the classroom. In this reflection I share experiences with three main tools that are telegram as a communicative tool, VLE (virtual learning environment) as an informative tool, and Google Docs as a co-constructive tool.

Telegram helped us communicate easily and quickly. It works on phones, computers, and tablets, which made it simple to stay connected with friends and lecturers. In our micro teaching sessions, we used group chats to share important information such as lesson plans and reflections. Features like pinned messages, voice chats, and video message made it easier to understand lesson and improved how we shared ideas. The poll feature helped us make group discussions where it made that each individual is included and respected.

VLE worked as an informative tool by which helping us get clear and organized information. The online users feature allow teacher to track the information on which students are active and know who was engaged. The calendar tool showed information on deadlines with color codes were making it easy to plan. The announcement section acted like a digital notice board, giving us important updates. The course detail section gave full information on lessons and materials, helping us to learn at our own pace when we don’t fully understand the lesson.

Google Docs allowed us to work collaboratively as a team. The best part was the real time editing, where group members could edit the same document at the same time. The comment and suggestion tools helped us give feedback and improve our writing. The version history showed changes made to the documents and allowed us to go back earlier versions. Teachers could also control access to help or guide us step by step.

To sum up, these tools each played a special role in supporting learning. Telegram improved communication, VLE gave clear information, and Google Docs helped us work together. As a future teacher, I am confident that integrating digital tools thoughtfully can promote learner engagement, foster critical thinking and build 21st century digital competencies.

Co-constructive Tool

Co-constructive Tool: Google Docs a Co-constructive Tool

A co-constructive tool is digital resource that allows multiple users to build knowledge collaboratively. It helps learner and teacher to work collaboratively to generate ideas, solve problems, and produce shared outputs such as presentations, essays or project plans. In an educational context, these tools foster active participation, critical thinking, and peer learning.

How is using co-constructive tool (Google Docs) is useful in teaching and learning?

From my experience, among many co-constructive tools I found Google Docs to be valuable platform for supporting collaborative tasks. It allows multiple users to edit a single document in real time, meaning that students can work together regardless of physical location. This feature directly supports the co-construction of knowledge, as it encourages learners to contribute, revise, and build on each other’s input continuously.

One of the most powerful co-constructive features of Google Docs is the real time editing capability. As in our college while we are working in groups to make lesson plans, we can see each other’s changes instantly. This promotes a shared responsibility and enables meaningful peer interaction, where learners can actively shape the content together rather than working in isolation.

Another important feature is the comment and suggestion mode, which supports constructive feedback and peer review. Students can leave comments on specific sections of the text were suggesting improvements, or as questions. This process fosters reflective thinking and helps learners develop their analytical and collaborative writing skills. As a trainee, I found this feature especially useful for group lesson planning or peer editing sessions where it promotes collaboration.

The version history in Google Docs is another tool that enhance co-construction. It tracks all changes made to a document and allows users to view or restore earlier versions. This ensures transparency and accountability in group tasks, allowing teachers to assess individual contributions and students to reflect on how their ideas have evolved over time.

Additionally, shared access permissions allow teachers to scaffold learning. For example, a teacher can set a document so that students can only comment at first, encouraging them to analyze before editing. Later, editing rights can be granted for students to co-create the final product. This gradual release of responsibility supports skill development while maintaining structure.

To conclude, I recognize Google Docs is an effective co-constructive tool that promotes active learning, shared responsibility, and collaborative problem solving. Features like real-time editing, comments, version history and permission control are specifically designed to support group work and knowledge building. As a future teacher, I see a great chances in using Google Docs to help students learn together, think critically, and develop teamwork and writing skills in a digital environment.

Informative Tool

Informative Tool: VLE as an Informative Tool

An informative tool is any resource, method or device used to convey information or knowledge in a clear and understandable way. In an educational setting, these tools are used to gather and share important information effectively.

How is using an informative tool (VLE) is useful in teaching and learning?

Among many informative tools, I have found that Virtual Learning Environments’ feature effectively support teaching and learning with clear information. One key feature of VLE that is an informative is ‘Online Users’ tool, which provides real-time data on who is actively using the forum. As a future teacher, this tool offers me valuable insight into student engagement patterns. It helps me to identify and get information about students that whether they are accessing my uploaded materials or doing the activities. This feature doesn’t just show who is online or actively participating in activities but also informs my understanding of learners are interacting with the platform. It also highlights potential disengagement or lack of access to resources such as I can get information about students who don’t have access to mobile phone to log in VLE.

Another highly informative tool in VLE is the calendar tool, which visually displays deadlines using different color codes. For instance, in our college assignment submission dates and homework deadlines are often highlighted in separated color where can get information about the deadlines of submission. Moreover, for me it serves as a planning aid and reinforces time engagement. As a future teacher I can also remain informed of upcoming responsibilities and making the task easier to guide learner in organizing their work.

The announcement section within the VLE also functions as source of official information. In our college, important updates such as meeting schedules, academic events, or college programs are posted here. In this forum, the information is updated and also able to see the older announcement with clarity. This feature serves as a digital notice board ensuring that crucial information is not missed. Unlike emails, announcements remain pinned and visible upon log in, making them a consistent and accessible source of institutional information.

The course details section in the VLE further supports its role as an informative tool. In this section I can get the information about overview of the modules I am enrolled in along with detailed breakdowns of weekly topics and uploaded lesson materials.  Moreover, this has been particularly helpful when I need to review content from the lesson I am not fully understood in the class. Having access to lesson notes in one place allows me to learn at my own pace which supports deeper learning.

In conclude, VLE is a powerful informative tool that shapes how I access and engage with knowledge. Features like online user activity, calendars, announcements, and course detail provide organized, and timely information that is essential for teaching and learning success. As a future teacher, I value the way VLE supports not only the delivery of content but also my ability to monitor and respond to learners’ needs through informational strategy.

Communicative Tool

Reflection on Communicative Tool:  Telegram as a communicative tool

A communicative tool refers to any platform, application, or technology that helps people to share and exchange information. In education setting, these tools are used to communicate effectively between student and teacher where the student ask questions on lesson that they have not understood and teacher give feedback were creating interactive learning environment. Communicative tools are basically helpful in blended or remote learning setting where students may not be physically present.

How using a communicative tool (Telegram) is useful in teaching and learning?

As a trainee, I have come to understand the significance of clear and continuous communication in education system. Among many communicative tools, one tool that I found very effective during teaching and learning is telegram. Compared to other messaging platforms, telegram offers some unique features that boosted my learning and communication skills.

Telegram is a user-friendly app that works across multiple devices, including smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers where we can start a conversation. Its accessibility allowed seamless communication among peers and lectures. Many of my peers and lecturers were already using telegram, which made it easier for me to communicate or coordinate. During our micro teaching sessions where we created group chats to discuss lesson plans, provide feedback, and sharing reflection through group chat in telegram. These group conversations promoted inclusive and active participation, where everyone had a voice.

A feature of telegram that I found particularly helpful was the voice chat and video messaging where it allows me to ask doubts in voice and send video tutorial for better understanding of lesson. While asking doubts through voice messages it also enriched my social communication skills when typing wasn’t convenient. Moreover, it’s useful for me when discussing assignment with my friends since it’s so hard to meet all friends in person but we can discuss through telegram and support one another.

The pinned messages feature in telegram also enhanced communication by keeping key information like important announcement made by college visible and accessible. It ensured that important messages weren’t lost in the flow of conversation, improving the clarity and continuity of our communication.

Another communicative feature in telegram that I found was poll tool where it is usually used to collect opinions but in educational context it functioned as a way to communicate group preferences and ensure equal participation. For instance, we used polls to decide group formation on assignment. This created democratic communication where everyone’s voice was considered without disorganized conversations.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that telegram is a powerful communicative tool for teachers and learners. It supports a variety of media, real time interaction, and group coordination. As a future teacher, I am confident that telegram can be utilized to strengthen classroom communication, create resource banks, and support learners beyond school hours.
